Job Summary
Operate snowplow trucks safely during winter storms and perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections. Follow DOT/OSHA safety rules, communicate with Route Manager/Dispatch for safety or service needs, participate in required safety meetings and training, and assist other drivers as needed. On-call winter-season role based in Thornburg/Stafford, VA with travel to snow locations; requires willingness to travel, hotel/per diem provided for out-of-town work, and a high school diploma or equivalent. Must be 18+, have a valid driver's license, pass a DOT drug screen and MVR review, maintain a clean driving record, and complete an 8-hour in-person snow training before the season. Prior snowplow experience is helpful but not required.
