Job Summary
Perform daily pre-trip and safety inspections on equipment prior to commencing route. Drive established routes to deliver wine, spirits, and non-alcoholic beverage products to assigned customers while inspecting general vehicle condition. Assemble customer orders, place products in storage, and prepare, load, and unload vehicles. Resolve customer concerns regarding spoilage, breakage, or incorrect product, and collect monies owed to the account. Record route activity, produce accurate delivery records, and report incidents to the dispatcher. Comply with Department of Transportation, Alcoholic Beverage Control, and company safety standards. Requires DOT certification, one year of experience, and ability to lift up to 48 pounds. Extended hours, overtime, and peak-season schedules may be required.
Required Qualifications
- 1 year of experience
- Required Department of Transportation (DOT) certified
- Must be able to frequently lift, lower, push, carry, or pull up to 48 pounds
- Must be able to regularly sit and operate machinery such as a forklift, pallet jacks, and battery change stations
- Extended hours, overtime, weekends, and peak‐season schedules may be required
