Job Summary
Non-CDL Driver I is responsible for the safe, efficient transportation of materials to various job sites and other locations. This entry-level driving role focuses on delivering raw materials and smaller orders; may require some state-specific certification. Responsibilities include operating safely, checking orders for accuracy, organizing and securing loads, obtaining supervisor approval on loads, unloading materials to customer satisfaction, completing daily equipment inspections, handling delivery tickets and credit slips, providing excellent customer service, and adhering to company policies and safety standards. May be subject to DOT/FMCSA regulations; location-based duties at Red Wing, MN.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required
- 1-3 years of truck driving experience required
- DL (Driver's License) in-state and valid
- Proficiency with GPS and other business applications; basic math; ability to read orders and complete forms
- Knowledge of DOT and FMCSA jurisdictions and restrictions (may be subject to)
