Job Summary
Casual Driver (Non-CDL) & General Labor role delivering products with vehicles under 26,001 lbs, performing pre-trip and post-trip inspections, securing loads, and maintaining shipping documents. Responsibilities include operating a forklift for loading/unloading, basic vehicle maintenance, complying with safety/DOT rules, maintaining inventory and production records, and coordinating with base or supervisor for dispatch. Requires 1+ year driving experience, Class D license and DOT Medical Card, and ability to handle loading, labeling, and basic math tasks in a fast-paced environment in Howell, MI.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 12th grade basic education completed
- Minimum 1 year of experience driving a vehicle of less than 26,001 lbs
- Valid Class D Driver’s License and DOT Medical Card
- Working knowledge of basic math (preferred)
- Successful completion of forklift driver licensing process
- Operate a forklift to load/unload trailers as required and follow forklift rules and policies as described by Company policy
