Job Summary
Conduct daily residential routes to collect clothing, furniture, and household items from donors and donation boxes. Safely navigate a 24/26-foot box truck through tight locations while performing pre- and post-trip inspections. Collaborate with helpers to load, unload, and sort donations by category using hand trucks and pallet jacks. Deliver courteous customer service during pickups and maintain communication with supervisors for route adjustments. Adhere to DOT driving hours and safety protocols, including wearing PPE. Work flexible schedules including weekends and holidays to ensure all routes are completed on time.
Required Qualifications
- At least 21 years old
- Valid driver's license
- Clean driving record
- Must be available to work flexible hours, including days from Monday through Sunday, while adhering to DOT regulated driving hours
- Successful completion of background check, motor vehicle check, and drug screen
- Strong navigation skills
