Job Summary
Deliver glass to customers promptly while maintaining positive local work environments and strong customer relations. Receive shipments, unpack trucks, locate parts, and visually inspect glass before loading it accurately onto delivery trucks. Stock the warehouse by placing parts in assigned racks and check inventory to maintain accuracy. Operate a forklift, order picker, and basic hand tools to receive orders from the warehouse office. Work core hours from 4:30 pm to 1 am Monday through Friday at a rate of $19.00 per hour.
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver's license, good driving record, and an ability to read maps
- Ability to lift 35-45 pounds on a frequent basis and on occasion up to 70 pounds
- Ability to operate a forklift, order picker, and basic hand tools
- Good attendance
- Proficiency in English language (verbal and written)
- Good customer relations skills
- Ability to work in temperatures similar to the outdoors within the area of the assigned Service Center
- Core Hours: 430pm-1am (or until route completion) - Monday-Friday
Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Personal Computer skills including computerized inventory system
- Previous delivery driving, material handling, and glass experience
- Previous commercial driving experience (2-years minimum)
