Job Summary
Delivers glass to customers promptly while maintaining positive local work environments and developing strong customer relations. Receives shipments, unpacks incoming trucks, and visually inspects glass before loading parts accurately onto delivery trucks. Locates required parts in the warehouse, removes items from stock, and stocks assigned racks to maintain inventory accuracy. Receives orders from the warehouse office and operates a forklift, order picker, and basic hand tools. Requires a valid driver's license, good driving record, and ability to lift 35-45 pounds frequently. Core hours are 9am-5pm Monday through Friday.
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver's license
- Good driving record
- Ability to read maps
- Ability to lift 35-45 pounds on a frequent basis
- Ability to lift up to 70 pounds on occasion
- Ability to operate a forklift
- Ability to operate an order picker
- Ability to operate basic hand tools
- Good attendance
- Proficiency in English language (verbal and written)
- Good customer relations skills
- Ability to work in temperatures similar to the outdoors within the area of the assigned Service Center
Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Personal Computer skills including computerized inventory system
- Previous delivery driving, material handling, and glass experience
- Previous commercial driving experience (2-years minimum)
