Job Summary
Deliver product to customers in a safe, professional, and courteous manner, including invoicing and collecting payments as instructed. Operate a vehicle to deliver assigned orders while maintaining the vehicle through pre- and post-use inspections and daily interior cleaning. Manage customer relationships and reconcile loads with receipts and delivery invoices. Work with Salesmen and Merchandisers to meet customer expectations and responsibly handle products. Conduct safe interactions with the public and comply with highway rules and regulations. Maintain a safe and clean working environment by following established procedures.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to attain and maintain a NYS Solicitor's permit
- Valid driver's license in good standing
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
- Ability to write simple correspondence
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
- Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs
- Excellent PC/Laptop/iPad skills
- Experience navigating database software
- Experience with order processing systems
- Experience with spreadsheet software
- Excel skills
- PowerPoint presentation skills
- Ability to occasionally lift 50 lbs
- Ability to move up to 250 pounds
- Close and distance vision
Desired Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of related work or educational experience
- Ability to develop and grow relationships
