Job Summary
Deliver products to daily stops, unload merchandise using a hand, manual pallet jack, and dolly, and place cargo at the customer's preferred location. Safely operate a 24' box truck with air brakes up to 25,999 GVW, load and unload cargo via lift gate, and properly track and document the activity log. Inspect the truck before and after the trip, report any issues or incidents to dispatch, and communicate with customers maintaining an outgoing attitude. Work Monday through Friday from 7:00 am until the daily route is completed.
Required Qualifications
- A good driving record
- 1 year of route delivery experience
- 1 year of manual pallet jack and hand truck experience
- Lift gate experience
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds comfortably and unassisted
- Must be able to pass a DOT medical exam and a Non-DOT drug exam
- Must be able to operate a 24' box truck with air brakes up to 25,999 GVW
- Must be able to load and unload cargo via hand, manual pallet jack, and lift gate
- Must be able to properly track and document the activity log
- Must be able to report any issues or incidents to dispatch
- Must be able to inspect the truck before and after the trip
- Must be able to communicate with customers with an outgoing attitude
- Must be available to work from Monday to Friday, from 7:00 am (or until the daily route is completed)
