Job Summary
Deliver freight using a box truck within the Omaha, NE area, ensuring all deliveries meet customer requirements. Maintain a clean motor vehicle record and possess at least one year of verifiable straight or box truck experience. Navigate local roadways, interpret tariff signs, and complete basic checklists and forms. Lift and move objects up to 50 pounds while standing or walking for extended periods. Work a Monday through Friday schedule from 8 AM to 5 PM. This role supports Maersk's global logistics network by transporting goods across 130 countries.
Required Qualifications
- Non CDL (CLEAN MOTOR VEHICLE RECORD)
- at least 1 full year of verifiable straight/box truck experience within the last 5 years
- Delivery experience
- a clean motor vehicle record
- Medical DOT Card
- at least 22 years of age
- standing and walking for extended periods of time
- frequently stoop, kneel, crouch, use hands, reach, bend, and lift objects above their head
- lift/move up to 50 pounds
- Touch Freight
- assembling/disassembling freight
- Ability to read and interpret maps
- Strong knowledge of the roadways throughout the immediate and surrounding areas
- Ability to read and understand tariff signs and signals
- Ability to read, comprehend, and complete basic checklists, forms, and other related documents
