Job Summary
Operate safely and efficiently a non-CDL bus on a Demand Response schedule, acting as front-line customer service and ensuring passenger safety. Responsibilities include completing required paperwork, reporting defects, collecting fares, assisting passengers with information and transfers, adhering to company and regulatory policies, and participating in training. Requires MA driver’s license, DPU certificate, DOT medical card, and ability to work evenings/weekends; strong communication and customer-service skills are essential.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Massachusetts Driver’s License
- DPU Certificate
- DOT Medical Card
- Ability to read and write
- Ability to operate a commercial vehicle
- Ability to work evening and weekend hours
- Strong communication skills
- Customer service experience preferred
- Possession of current class D License or ability to obtain DPU and medical card
