Job Summary
Collect and deliver medical waste containers from healthcare customer locations while safely operating a 26-foot box truck. Load and unload materials, prioritizing your truck based on the daily schedule and leadership direction. Manage your route according to assigned instructions, ensuring timely and effective service delivery. Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle evaluations, log hours, and adhere to DOT regulations including roadside inspections. Perform heavy lifting duties and maintain strong customer relationships through daily service. Work full-time hours Monday through Friday starting at 6 AM.
Required Qualifications
- Non CDL Driving Experience
- Willingness to work full time hours, approx. 40 hours a week
- Experience with pre-trip and post-trip vehicle evaluations
- Passing our 7 Year FADV review in the Drug & Alcohol Clearinghouse
- Experience operating vehicles in a safe manner (as large as 26 ft box trucks)
- Experience with DOT compliance, logging hours, roadside inspections
- Confident in a road check level 1 through level 3
- Proven longevity in past employment
- On time delivery practices
Desired Qualifications
- Delivery experience within any industry where you have dealt with manual handling (advantageous not mandatory)
