Node Site Coordinator

Job Summary

Manage and coordinate all activities related to infrastructure within assigned node sites, overseeing the installation, operation, maintenance, and sustaining engineering of cable infrastructure. Perform installation activities for cable trays, copper, coax, and fiber elements, while conducting maintenance, clean-up of Telecommunication Rooms, and fiber restoration including splicing, testing, and audit of spare fibers. Coordinate with the Rapid Response Team for ISP events and temporary connections, providing routine maintenance and relocation services for dark fiber infrastructure. Develop and implement maintenance plans, ensure compliance with ANSI/TIA/EIA, BICSI, and local JSP standards, and maintain accurate documentation of surveys, permits, and tickets. Work with stakeholders to optimize network infrastructure operations. Day shift Monday through Friday with 10-20% travel; Top Secret/SCI clearance required.

Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in network engineering, ISP/OSP management, or a related field
  • CompTIA Sec+ CE or another DoD Compliant Certification
  • Must possess a Top Secret/SCI clearance
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen
  • Must be available to work evenings and weekends to meet program and contract needs
  • Must be willing to travel 10-20%
  • Must be able to lift up to 10 pounds
  • Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Must comply with any vaccination requirements mandated by contract, applicable law or regulation
  • Must agree to receive text messages regarding interview and employment status

  • Must agree to drug testing in accordance with federal, state, and local laws

Desired Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of telecommunications infrastructure, including fiber optics, copper, and coaxial cables
  • Familiarity with industry standards such as ANSI/TIA/EIA, BICSI, and JSP OSP standards
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to coordinate effectively with stakeholders
  • Proficiency in documentation and reporting tools/software
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
