Job Summary
Aeroflow Health is seeking a Node.js/Typescript Backend Software Engineer with 5+ years of experience to design and maintain serverless APIs and microservices in an agile environment, ensuring HIPAA compliance.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of backend development experience (preferably with Node.js and TypeScript)
- Equivalent experience in another modern backend language (e.g., Python, Java, Go) with strong familiarity in Node.js/TypeScript
- Proven experience building and designing REST APIs
- Deep understanding of microservice architecture, particularly within a serverless AWS context
- Hands-on experience with AWS Lambda, SNS, SQS, DynamoDB, S3, and CloudFront
- Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (AWS CloudFormation or CDK)
- Experience supporting and debugging applications in production environments
- Strong understanding of Git and Jira or similar project management tools
- Knowledge of basic system or network administration
Desired Qualifications
- SQL experience and familiarity with relational database design
- Leadership or mentoring experience (formal or informal)
- Hands-on experience with Next.js or similar backend frameworks
- Experience with React or other frontend frameworks
