Job Summary
Manage server-to-client data interchange by developing microservices and RESTful services on cloud platforms like SAP BTP, AWS, or Azure. Design and implement low-latency, high-availability applications while integrating user-facing front-end elements with server-side logic. Write well-structured, efficient, and maintainable code to actively keep the codebase quality in check, ensuring robust security, authentication, and authorization mechanisms. Implement test automation frameworks and utilize CI/CD pipelines to maintain agile software development standards.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in backend service development based on modern web technologies
- Strong proficiency with JavaScript, Node.js and corresponding frameworks
- Confident with cloud platform development concepts
- Experience in using test automation frameworks
- Understanding the nature of asynchronous programming and its quirks and workarounds
- Good understanding of server-side templating languages
- Good understanding of server-side CSS preprocessors
- Familiar with version control (git) and CI/CD
- Understanding of networking concepts, VPN tunnels, DNS and routing
- Understanding of security, authentication and authorization mechanisms
- Experience with agile software development
