Job Summary
Develop, maintain, and support backend applications using Node.js, PHP, and Go (Golang) while writing clean, efficient, and well-tested code. Troubleshoot and debug application defects, enhance existing systems by analyzing business requirements, and create technical documentation including specifications and test plans. Monitor system performance, provide ongoing application support, and work with the team to implement new features and technologies through code reviews and continuous improvement initiatives. Requires a degree in Computer Science or related field, experience with databases like MongoDB, and knowledge of messaging technologies such as RabbitMQ and Redis.
Required Qualifications
- Degree or certification in Computer Science, Engineering, MIS or a related discipline (or equivalent experience)
- Commercial or junior-level development experience with Node.js
- Exposure to PHP and Go (Golang)
- Understanding of object-oriented programming principles
- Experience working with databases such as MongoDB
- Knowledge of messaging technologies such as RabbitMQ and Redis
- Experience using version control systems, particularly Git
- Understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies
- Good written and spoken English
