Job Summary
Design and maintain Node.js back-end services using NestJS or Express, leveraging TypeScript and related frameworks. Build and manage REST APIs while coordinating with front-end teams using React, Redux, or Bootstrap. Implement relational databases like PostgreSQL or MySQL alongside NoSQL solutions such as DynamoDB and MongoDB. Collaborate within a Vancouver-based fintech environment, applying cloud expertise on AWS where applicable. Required Qualifications
- 1 - 3 + years of production experience working with Node.js, JavaScript / TypeScript and related frameworks (NestJS, Express)
- Experience working with Front-End JavaScript frameworks like React / Redux / Bootstrap
- Good understanding of API design and REST
- Knowledge of relational (PostgreSQL, MySQL, etc.) and NoSQL (DynamoDB, MongoDB, etc.) databases
- Candidates who either live in Canada, or currently have an active Canadian work visa or citizenship
