Job Summary
Nocturnist - Internal Medicine Physician sought to join MercyOne West Des Moines Medical Center's Hospitalist service. Requires BC/BE in Internal Medicine; offers base salary with incentives and a $50,000 sign-on bonus. Schedule is 7/7 with flexible options; provides ICU coverage with Pulmonary Critical Care consultation for high-acuity ICU patients. Admissions average 8 per 12-hour shift with APP support until midnight. Telehealth may be added in the future. The facility is a Level II Trauma center with a broad inpatient mission and a focus on general medical surgical care, OB, orthopedics, and bariatrics; Des Moines region offers community amenities and a strong job market.
