Job Summary
Nocturnist position for a BC/BE Internal Medicine physician to join MercyOne West Des Moines Medical Center's hospitalist service. The role includes ICU coverage with Pulmonary Critical Care consultation, high-acuity ICU patients, and an average of 8 admissions per 12-hour shift with APP support until midnight. Telehealth may be added in the future. The facility is a Level 4 Trauma Center with a large ED and ICU, located in the Des Moines metro area. MercyOne offers a base salary with incentives and a $50,000 sign-on bonus, paid malpractice, and a 403B match. 7/7 schedule options are available; flexible options described.
