Job Summary
Nocturnist – Internal Medicine physician needed to join MercyOne West Des Moines Medical Center Hospitalist service. Role includes ICU coverage with Pulmonary Critical Care consultation, high-acuity ICU patients, and admissions averaging 8 per 12-hour shift with APP support until midnight. Flexible 7/7 schedule with potential telehealth added in the future. Base salary with incentives and a $50,000 sign-on bonus, paid malpractice, and a 403B match. Facility details include Level II Trauma center, 146-bed license, and 24/7 ED. Required Qualifications
- BC/BE Internal Medicine
- Board-certified or board-eligible in Internal Medicine
- Nocturnist experience preferred (optional)
- MD or DO required for physician role
