Job Summary
Nocturnist to join the Hospitalist service at MercyOne West Des Moines Medical Center. The role requires BC/BE Internal Medicine and involves ICU coverage with Pulmonary Critical Care consultation, caring for high-acuity ICU patients, and admissions averaging 8 per 12-hour shift with APP support until midnight. Telehealth may be added in the future. The facility is a Level 4 Trauma Center with extensive inpatient services. The posting notes a base salary with incentives and a $50,000 sign-on bonus, plus paid malpractice and a 403B match. Des Moines offers a strong job market and community amenities. Required Qualifications
- BC/BE Internal Medicine
- Internal Medicine physician certification
- MD or DO license in good standing
