Job Summary
Nocturnist to join UNC Health Johnston in Smithfield, NC. Role involves hospitalist coverage in a team-based program with 7 nights on and 7 nights off (7 pm–7 am). EMR is EPIC. Compensation package includes CME allowance, health and life insurance, retirement, and relocation expenses. Requirements include MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school, BC/BE, and licensure (BLS, DEA). Internal Medicine Residency preferred; new trainees welcome. This is an onsite, full-time opportunity within UNC Health’s Hospital Medicine group in Smithfield/Clayton, NC.
Required Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited school of medicine (MD or DO)
- Internal Medicine Residency preferred
- Board Certified or Board Eligible (BC/BE)
- BLS
- DEA
- MD License in healthcare specialty
