Job Summary
Nocturnist Hospitalist opportunity with Saint Alphonsus Medical Group in Boise, ID. Join a 650+ provider multispecialty group to manage a high-acuity medical service at a 381-bed regional medical center. Full-time, 152-night shifts/year on a 7 on/7 off schedule (7:00pm–6:00am) with no call. Hospitalists participate in teaching residents within a multi-disciplinary team, caring for a patient mix including adults and geriatric cases, and rounding on 14–18 encounters per day with 6–8 admissions per night for nocturnists. The ideal candidate will have strong internal medicine or family medicine training with hospitalist experience and board certification in ABIM or AOBIM (or eligible within 3 years). Idaho licensure, privileges at SARMC, and a relocation package with sign-on incentives are offered, along with comprehensive benefits and malpractice insurance. Required Qualifications
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree
- ACGME accredited Internal Medicine residency (or family medicine residency with hospitalist training)
- Board certification through ABIM or AOBIM (or ability to obtain within 3 years)
- Idaho medical licensure to practice medicine in all its phases; valid controlled substance registration with Idaho Boards of Pharmacy & DEA
- Granting of privileges at Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center (SARMC)
