Job Summary
Nocturnist role at CHI Memorial Hospital in Ringgold, GA. Inpatient-focused care for adults on the night shift (7pm–7am) as part of the founding hospitalist team for a new facility. Responsibilities include diagnosing, treating, prescribing, ordering/interpreting tests, and managing discharge planning for inpatients. Requires MD or DO with board certification/eligibility in Internal Medicine; Georgia medical license and DEA eligibility. Benefits include relocation reimbursement, health/dental/vision, 401k with match, malpractice tail coverage, CME days, professional dues, and cell-phone stipend. Schedule features 158 shifts per year with CME days, emphasis on high-quality inpatient care without pediatrics, OB, or trauma; separate Rapid Response Team handles codes. Required Qualifications
- MD or DO degree
- Board certified/board eligible in Internal Medicine
- Active medical license & DEA ability for Georgia
- AHA BLS certification
