Job Summary
NOC Technician I responsible for proactive and reactive network monitoring of Cable One backbone entities and HFC networks. Serves as first contact for the NOC, performing initial troubleshooting, data gathering, and escalation to networking specialists and operations teams. Maintains incident logs, communicates status to stakeholders, and ensures smooth handover between shifts while supporting 24/7 operations. Preferred qualifications include Cisco Certified Technician (CCT) and working knowledge of modems and basic networking. Open to remote hires from specified US states.
Required Qualifications
- At least 3 months related experience or training.
Desired Qualifications
- Cisco Certified Technician (CCT) preferred
- A working knowledge of modems and basic networking preferred
Additional Requirements
- Must be flexible and able to work alternate shifts as required to support the 24/7 operation.
