Job Summary
Maintain a safe and clean environment while providing direct care services to elderly residents with dementia, including assistance with eating, dressing, and personal hygiene. Listen to resident needs and communicate health status updates to Medtechs, RCC, and RNs, ensuring full compliance with local, state, and federal guidelines. Correct unsafe actions and foster teamwork with co-workers to support a positive impact on residents and visitors. Work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays, maintaining CPR and First Aid certifications. Required Qualifications
- US Work Authorization
- 18 years or older
- Ability to lift up to 35 lbs
- Up-to-date CPR and First Aid certifications
- Must have excellent communication and listening skills
- Compassion and patience are a must
- Must be able to follow protocol and work with a team
- Must be organized and detail-oriented
- Must be a self-starter, able to work independently or with minimal direction
- Must be flexible and willing to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience in caring for elderly persons with dementia and Alzheimer's is preferred but not required
