Job Summary
Monitor, respond to, and escalate network incidents in a 24x7x365 environment while mentoring junior analysts. Troubleshoot network systems, administer Windows and Linux servers, and manage Juniper, Cisco, and Extreme network tools. Lead critical incidents and diagnose performance issues across SD-WAN and cloud-based networks. Support operational security, manage IP and DNS, and create or enforce standard operating procedures. Prepare performance reports and establish goals to meet customer project needs. Work first, second, or third shifts to support mission requirements.
Required Qualifications
- U.S. Citizen
- DHS Employment Eligibility Verification process
- Bachelor's degree in related field
- 5 years of experience in IT support or related field
- network engineering or operations
- 2 years of experience providing network support
- Windows 2016, 2022 and/or Linux server management support and administration
- Juniper SRX Firewalls configuration, troubleshooting, Policy configuration
- Wireless Access Point (enterprise level) Management and Administration
- Cisco ISE 3.0 (or later) configuration of access/authorization policies
- Cisco CCNA or Cisco CCNP certification
- Implementing Cisco SD-WAN Solutions v2.0 (300-415)
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate
- Microsoft Azure Networking Solutions (AZ-700)
- CompTIA Cloud+
- Experience troubleshooting and fixing LAN/WAN network incidents
- Availability to work first, second, or third shift hours (generally 9PM to 7AM) and weekends to support mission requirements
- Public Trust (#publictrust)
Desired Qualifications
- Experience using and managing SPLUNK search heads
- Cisco CCNP certification
- Juniper JNCIA-SEC certification
- Extreme certifications covering switching or network access control
- Ability to obtain Top Secret/SCI security clearance if required
