Job Summary
NOC Manager (Tier-1) at Axon 911 responsible for orchestrating the NOC engineers, defining and monitoring KPIs to ensure high-quality technical support in a SaaS/Web Production environment. Roles include hands-on troubleshooting, strategic technical leadership, talent management and development of the NOC team, incident management, policy implementation (configuration/change management), and cross-department collaboration with Axon customers. Requires hands-on monitoring expertise, experience designing monitoring systems (Datadog, Kibana, Grafana, Coralogix or similar), and strong documentation and stakeholder communication. Flexible hours to support off-hours activities. The position is located in New York, NY, US, and is in-person.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a NOC Engineer in a SaaS company
- At least 2 years as a NOC Manager
- Hands-on expertise in monitoring technologies in a Production environment
- Proven ability to design and implement advanced monitoring systems for early detection and resolution of service issues in SaaS/Web environments (Datadog, Kibana, Grafana, Coralogix or similar)
- Ability to create, maintain and optimize technical documentation and customer-facing strategies
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and urgency for issue escalation and resolution
- Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate across departments and with partners
- Flexibility to work off-hours for deployments and deadlines
