Job Summary
NOC Engineer responsible for monitoring and troubleshooting network across IP/transmission platforms (including xWDM), owning incidents from detection to resolution, and collaborating with third-party providers. Core duties include analyzing alarms, performing fault troubleshooting, resolving incidents at first line when possible, and producing root cause analyses/outage reports. Requires strong analytical, communication, and documentation skills; experience with TCP/IP, MPLS, BGP, QoS, xWDM; CCNP Enterprise or equivalent; experience with Linux/Windows environments; scripting optional. Offered with a focus on international operations, continuous improvement of NOC monitoring tools, and coordination during planned maintenance.
Required Qualifications
- 3–5+ years of experience in a Network Operations Center (NOC) or similar environment
- Strong technical expertise in network troubleshooting across IP and/or transmission platforms
- Solid knowledge of TCP/IP, MPLS, BGP, QoS, xWDM technologies
- CCNP Enterprise level knowledge (for IP-focused roles) or equivalent practical experience
- Hands-on experience with network monitoring tools, incident handling, and fault management
- Experience working with Linux/Windows environments
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with internal teams and external providers
- Experience in documenting incidents and maintaining clear technical reporting
