Job Summary
Monitor real-time traffic and route performance, responding swiftly to network alerts and delivery issues while continuously optimizing SMS routes to address potential inefficiencies. Investigate and diagnose technical issues related to SMS routing, including network configurations, logs, and routing failures, and manage and troubleshoot alarms using Alaris monitoring systems. Perform root cause analysis to prevent future occurrences of network disruptions and promptly escalate TT's from Customers to Suppliers. Document operational processes and collaborate with cross-functional teams to support system upgrades. Maintain the Messaging routing scheme ensuring 24/7 availability.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent work experience)
- 2+ years of experience in a NOC or telecom environment
- Proficiency with Alaris systems
- Strong understanding of networking protocols, technologies, and troubleshooting techniques
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to work under pressure
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders
