Job Summary
Full-time Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) Nurse at Bledsoe County Correctional Center, Pikeville, TN. Responsible for conducting CQI studies and audits, monitoring trends, and providing statistical analysis for QA/CQI indicators; prepare written reports and presentations on findings; ensure infection control practices are followed; collaborate with healthcare, laboratory, and security staff and state and local agencies to prevent and control infection; educate staff and patients about infectious disease and safe infection control practices.
Required Qualifications
- Tennessee RN license or ability to obtain license
- Current CPR
- Corrections experience not required
- Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check
