Job Summary
Draft pleadings, correspondence, and memoranda while summarizing medical records to highlight critical information. Identify, research, and analyze legal issues, then take and defend depositions, handle arbitrations, and argue motions. Attend in-person and virtual court appearances to provide legal representation for clients facing liability in automotive, trucking, medical malpractice, and toxic tort cases. Write reports to clients summarizing case status and next steps, explaining the litigation process to those unfamiliar with it. Take charge of cases from inception to resolution to move them toward cost-effective and fair outcomes. Manage multiple assignments and deadlines while billing for time.
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience in civil litigation
- Experience handling depositions, mediations, arbitrations, and other complex assignments
- Excellent research, writing, and communication skills
- Ability to manage a high-volume caseload and the day-to-day tasks involved within the cases
- Experience billing for your time

- Experience with PIP and SIU matters
