Job Summary
NNP Nursing Faculty at Regis University teaches across classroom, online, and clinical settings, develops and evaluates curricula, mentors students, supervises clinical experiences, and engages in scholarship and service aligned with Boyer’s model. The role includes planning and delivering courses with instructional strategies (including flipped classrooms and case studies), coordinating laboratory and clinical activities, advising students on academic planning and testing strategies, and participating in school, college, and university committees. Rank-dependent responsibilities and salary are determined by faculty rank, with part-time (0.5 FTE) appointments and flexible work arrangements based on position.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate degree in Nursing
- Active Colorado RN license
- Minimum two years of full-time nursing clinical experience
- Knowledge of nursing education and teaching methodologies
- Ability to develop curriculum, evaluate student learning, and supervise clinical activities
- Doctoral degree in nursing preferred
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and education technology
- Experience with teaching adults and curriculum development
