Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive NMT assessments by collecting developmental, relational, and neurobiological data to inform individualized treatment plans for children, youth, and families. Utilize the NMT metric tool to map neurodevelopmental functioning and identify therapeutic priorities, then collaborate with clinical teams to ensure treatment plans align with findings. Provide detailed reports on assessment findings to staff, families, and external stakeholders while participating in case reviews to guide intervention strategies. Maintain thorough documentation ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards, and attend regular supervision and training to stay updated on methodologies.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in psychology, social work, counseling, or a related field
- Phase I certification in the Neurosequential Model of Therapeutics (NMT)
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working in trauma-informed care, neurodevelopmental assessments, or similar therapeutic settings
- Strong understanding of developmental trauma, brain science, and NMT principles
- Excellent assessment, analytical, and communication skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and convey complex neurodevelopmental concepts in a clear, concise manner
- Must be 21 years of age
- Possess an Arizona driver's license and state mandated auto insurance
- Possess or be able to obtain a Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card
- Must be able to pass a 5-panel drug screen
Desired Qualifications
- Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or similar licensure
