Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive NMT assessments to collect developmental, relational, and neurobiological data, utilizing the NMT metric tool to map clients' neurodevelopmental functioning and identify therapeutic priorities. Collaborate with clinical teams to ensure treatment plans align with NMT findings and provide detailed reports on assessment findings to staff, families, and stakeholders. Participate in case reviews, offer insights to guide intervention strategies, and maintain thorough documentation ensuring compliance with legal and organizational standards. Attend regular supervision and training sessions to stay updated on NMT methodologies and advocate for the application of NMT principles in clinical settings. This role supports the development of neurodevelopmentally informed treatment plans for children, youth, and families within Intermountain Centers' largest adult and child service continuum in Arizona.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in psychology, social work, counseling, or a related field
- Phase I certification in the Neurosequential Model of Therapeutics (NMT)
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working in trauma-informed care, neurodevelopmental assessments, or similar therapeutic settings
- Strong understanding of developmental trauma, brain science, and NMT principles
- Excellent assessment, analytical, and communication skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and convey complex neurodevelopmental concepts in a clear, concise manner
- Must be 21 years of age
- Possess an Arizona driver's license and state mandated auto insurance
- Possess or be able to obtain a Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card
- Must be able to pass a 5-panel drug screen
Desired Qualifications
- Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or similar licensure
