Job Summary
Leading a team of module engineers and manufacturing operations engineers in the Dry Etch department to transfer new products to factory and sustain high-volume manufacturing with safe, high-quality, cost-effective solutions. Drive technology development and enablement, conduct feasibility studies to meet device specs, and maximize safety, quality, and processing capabilities across wafer processing, assembly/test, and module repair. Provide clear management direction for daily operations, prioritize process engineering, improve yield and manufacturing efficiency, and recommend/oversee equipment modifications to boost production throughput. Develop long-term strategies for module engineering capabilities, facilitate technology transfer to other sites via training and audits, and ensure ramp readiness for Early Tool Sets and new tooling. Partner with integration, device, and yield teams to build robust process solutions that balance power, performance, cost, and scalability, while fostering team growth, accountability, and a productive work environment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in STEM with 6+ years of wafer fabrication engineering experience
- Master's degree in STEM with 4+ years of wafer fabrication engineering experience
- PhD in STEM with 2+ years of wafer fabrication engineering experience
- Leadership role in solving complex technical problems, coaching and mentorship, and track record of in-depth analysis and quality execution
- Preferred: 2+ years of Dry Etch process or equipment experience including leadership, cross-functional collaborations, and training on people and performance management
