Job Summary
Training and Compliance Specialist responsible for developing, delivering, and overseeing training programs related to utility locating practices, auditing locators for safety and standards compliance, and evaluating performance through field audits and documentation. Requires extensive utility locating experience, strong communication, and a focus on safety and education; duties include conducting classroom and field training, staying current with industry trends and regulatory changes, coaching staff, performing regular audits, documenting findings, creating corrective action plans, and presenting reports to management. Must travel ~75%+ for field audits and training, possess a valid driver’s license, pass a drug/alcohol screen, and adhere to PPE and safety requirements. Knowledge of locating principles, equipment, and regulatory constraints, plus proficiency in Microsoft Office and utility maps, is essential.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years utility locating experience required.
- Ability to locate all utility types.
