Job Summary
Assist the Head Wrestling Coach with day-to-day functions of the wrestling team, including recruiting, developing practice plans, coordinating travel, scheduling, and other assignments as prepared by the head coach and/or athletic director. Requires collaboration with students and staff, strong interpersonal skills, and knowledge/experience coaching wrestling. CDL must be obtainable to qualify for the role; position is 234-day part-time with salary range $30,000–$32,000, with a base salary increase of $1,500 after obtaining a Commercial Driver's License.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Demonstrated experience in effective communication with students and student athletes on a daily basis
- Demonstrated understanding of and commitment to the mission of a comprehensive community college
- Demonstrated commitment to career and professional development
- Ability to obtain a commercial driver's license
