Job Summary
Collaborate with consultants, school districts, and community service providers to facilitate training, workshops, webinars, and assemblies for youth and families. Assist in programmatic data collection, reporting, continuous quality improvement processes, and evaluation of services for the target population. Plan and implement evidence-based prevention services with curricula fidelity across schools in the HUB vicinage. Establish alliances with organizations including school boards, law enforcement, healthcare providers, and community centers. Attend events and meetings related to prevention and community services as needed. Serve as a customer service role model to ensure positive relationships with all program participants. Schedule and assist collaborators on best practices related to prevention science. This role supports the NJ4S COMPASS program within the premier behavioral health organization in New Jersey, fostering a trauma-informed care culture.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Counseling, or related field
- Three years of relevant work experience
- Valid NJDL
- Safe driving record in accordance with Agency guidelines
- Vehicle availability to meet transportation needs
- Satisfactory background check
- Fingerprinting results as per DCF/DOE regulations
- Computer proficiency
- Familiarity with Excel
- Familiarity with Word
- Familiarity with professional electronic record keeping portals
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal using a trauma-informed approach
- Managerial and organizational skills
- Customer service skills
- Ability to follow policies and procedures as outlined in the HR Manual and Employee Handbook
- Familiarity with organizational policy and procedure
Desired Qualifications
- Master's degree
- Prevention Science certification
- Bilingual in Spanish
- Additional stipend for bilingual status
