Job Summary
Senior Director of Pharmacy overseeing pharmacy strategy, medication management programs, formulary optimization, and compliant, evidence-based medication therapy across value-based care. Leads drug utilization review, medication safety initiatives, and policy development; collaborates with physicians, PBMs, and care teams to improve patient outcomes, adherence, and cost-effectiveness. Drives population health initiatives, supports MTM programs, and ensures compliance with federal/state regulations while guiding performance metrics and strategic planning.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) required
- Active Pharmacist license in the State of New Jersey required
- Minimum of 5 years experience in clinical pharmacy leadership role
- Experience supporting medication therapy management programs
- Experience working with Medicare, Medicaid, and healthcare regulatory agencies
- Knowledge of pharmacy benefit management (PBM) operationspreferred
- Strong knowledge of clinical information systems including electronic medical records (EMR)
- Experience supporting risk management and medication safety protocols
- Strong analytical skills supporting medication utilization review and cost management
- Strong leadership, communication, and strategic planning skills
