Job Summary
Prepare and file visa applications under attorney supervision while compiling case facts, drafting correspondence, and maintaining client documentation. Communicate directly with multiple attorneys and utilize MS Word, Outlook, INSZoom, and document management systems to support the firm's business immigration practice. Requires 2+ years of employment-based immigration experience and strong knowledge of NIV processes. This role is part of Ogletree Deakins' largest business immigration practice, serving Fortune 500 companies and international corporations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university, or a paralegal certificate from an ABA-approved program
- 2+ years of employment-based Immigration Paralegal experience
- Knowledge of the NIV processes
- Strong writing skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to multitask
- Ability to work independently toward team goals
- Outstanding organizational skills
- Strong proficiency with MS Word, Outlook, INSZoom, and document management systems
