Job Summary
Claims Handler role within Davies' Casualty team to deliver proactive NIHL and other casualty claim handling for major clients. Responsibilities include liaising with Disclosure teams for MOD services, investigating allocated claims, gathering all relevant evidence, determining appropriate actions to resolve each case, preparing detailed reports on legal liability and tactics, negotiating settlements within authority limits, maintaining professional correspondence, ensuring procedures and client requirements are followed, managing reserves, and continuously learning through company training. The role emphasizes cradle-to-grave claims management, strong communication across levels, and a collaborative, customer-focused approach.
Required Qualifications
- Proficiency in managing Claims from cradle to grave
- Understanding of Civil Procedure Rules and the Claims Portal
- Commitment to delivering outstanding customer service
- Collaborative team player
- Management of personal caseload
Additional Requirements
- Sole British National or dual national with one part British
- Must hold British Citizenship
