Job Summary
Nightshift Warehouse Supervisor responsible for the day-to-day operation of receiving, selection and loading in a temperature-controlled distribution center, and for maintaining productivity levels of hourly personnel. Leads safety and sanitation initiatives, plans daily/weekly staffing, monitors order accuracy, conducts meetings, trains and develops hourly associates, generates labor-productivity reports, and ensures compliance with food safety and sanitation procedures. Provides high-visibility leadership on shifts, oversees sanitation inspections, and directs sanitation priorities and corrective actions in coordination with management to maintain efficient distribution-center operations.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of related experience in Logistics/Supply Chain
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work in temperature-controlled environments
- Knowledge of distribution systems and WMS/WIN
- Self-starter with good decision-making and organizational skills
- Excellent analytical and computer skills (Microsoft applications)
- Capacity to lift up to 80 pounds and work in varying temperatures
