Nightshift Production Supervisor

Job Summary
Plan and control poultry processing workflows to meet USDA standards, quality control, and sales requirements. Supervise employees, manage labor costs, and ensure proper resource utilization while repositioning staff for ergonomic goals and break coverage. Coordinate with the USDA, State Grader, Quality Control, and Shipping teams to maintain compliance. Accountable for safety, loss prevention, job training, and cleanup duties during breaks and between shifts. Serve as a backup for the Shift Manager. Requires a degree in Business or Agricultural Science with poultry experience, or a high school diploma with four years of poultry production experience.
Required Qualifications
- Four Year Degree in Business, Agricultural Science or related field plus two years experience
- High School Diploma with at least four years of poultry experience (table, machine, cone)
- Previous Supervisory or Management experience managing processes and people
- PC skills required (MS Office)-Basic
- Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
- High degree of attention to detail
- Excellent Communications skills
- Ability to exercise sound judgment and make decisions in a manner that is consistent with the essential job functions
- Must have the ability to enter all areas of the plant and offices
- Must be able to lift 40lbs or more, use hands wrists and fingers to cut and pull
- Must be able to stand for long periods at a time
- Must be able to communicate with all level of employees as well as outside vendors and government agencies
