Job Summary
Operate moulding machines to produce plastic components while monitoring operations for consistent quality. Perform routine maintenance, troubleshoot operational issues, and conduct quality control checks to report defects. Pack, label, and palletise production for shipment, adhering to safety guidelines and process instructions. Maintain a clean environment and collaborate with the team to meet targets. This full-time night shift role includes 4 x 12-hour shifts Monday to Thursday, with flexibility for occasional day shifts and overtime. Full training is provided for this permanent position in Bodiam.
Required Qualifications
- Proven ability to work with machinery
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Good manual dexterity and ability to multitask
- Basic computer skills (MS Word/Excel)
- Own transport to commute to Bodiam, East Sussex
- Flexible and willing to adapt to changing needs in the production schedule
- 4 x 12-hour shifts, Monday to Thursday 7pm to 7am
- Occasional overtime may be required, including weekends
- May also be required to cover day shifts on occasion
