Job Summary
Night Youth Care Worker at Walton Academy for Growth and Change in DeFuniak Springs, FL. Provide 24-hour security and supervision for male youths 13-19 in a high-risk residential DJJ program; monitor and document behaviors, assist and mentor youth during recreation and development activities. Schedule includes 8:00 PM–8:00 AM shifts, 4 days per week (Sunday-Wednesday or Wednesday-Saturday). Starting pay is $19/hour, paid bi-weekly, with a $1,000 training incentive and benefits including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, 401k match, and PTO accrual. Requirements include a High School Diploma or GED with 40 hours of college education OR one year of youth-work experience and a valid Driver’s License.
