Job Summary
Night Warehouse Worker at Southern Glazer’s Wine & Spirits, on a full-time night shift (Mon-Fri, 8pm-5am), responsible for processing shipments, pulling materials, packing boxes, stocking bottle/case locations, stocking and restocking areas, and operating equipment such as forklift, pallet jacks, and order picker. Responsibilities include loading/unloading shipments at the receiving dock, ensuring safety practices (e.g., wheels chocked when unloading), organizing stock in the bottle room and forward pick locations, handling returns, picking VIA orders for Salesmen and Customers, maintaining orderly storage, and performing related duties. The role includes extended hours/overtime during peak seasons, a comprehensive benefits package, and an hourly pay rate of $22/hour with compensation determined by education, skills, and experience.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to frequently lift, lower, push, carry, or pull up to 48 pounds
- Must be able to regularly sit and operate machinery such as a forklift, pallet jacks, and battery change stations
- Extended hours, overtime, weekends, and peak-season schedules may be required
- Ability to operate forklift, pallet jacks, order picker
- Ability to load/unload shipments and perform receiving dock operations
- Stocking and picking in bottle room and forward pick locations
- Maintain cleanliness and safety in work area
- Wear all company issued safety equipment
