Job Summary
Retrieve stock from storage areas and replenish picking locations according to supervisor instructions. Use pallet jacks to transport products safely and ensure items are correctly labeled and stored in designated spots. Monitor inventory levels, report shortages or discrepancies, and maintain cleanliness by collecting garbage and shrink wrap daily. Operate equipment responsibly while adhering to all safety protocols and reporting issues like damaged goods promptly. Perform additional tasks as assigned, including assisting in receiving, picking, or packing. Maintain productivity goals and work in varying temperature environments including refrigerated areas.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to operate pallet jacks (manual, electric, or rider)
- Regular lifting, carrying, and moving items weighing up to 50 lbs
- Frequent standing, walking, bending, and reaching throughout the shift
- Ability to work in varying temperature environments, including refrigerated and freezer areas
Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous warehouse or replenishment experience is a plus
- Basic understanding of kosher standards (preferred but not required; training provided)
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Attention to Detail: Ensures accuracy in verifying shipments and completing documentation
- Time Management: Efficiently handles multiple tasks to meet deadlines and maintain workflow
- Physical Stamina: Capable of performing physically demanding tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
- Problem-Solving: Identifies and resolves discrepancies or issues with shipments proactively
- Teamwork: Works collaboratively with other team members to meet operational goals
- Safety Awareness: Follows safety protocols and actively identifies and addresses potential hazards
