Job Summary
Night Warehouse Manager responsible for leading a safety-first warehouse culture and driving efficient, accurate receiving, storage, and loading operations. Oversees warehouse personnel, coaching and developing associates, enforcing policy and procedures, managing performance, and coordinating inbound/outbound activities to ensure safe, cost-conscious, and reliable service. Focus areas include safety execution, staff development, order accuracy, inventory control, dock operations, compliance with MSS/FSQA, and optimization of warehouse workflows. Essential duties include leading safety initiatives, supervising a team of warehouse associates (loaders, receivers, forklift operators, etc.), interviewing and hiring with senior management, planning shifts, analyzing productivity and mis-picks, maintaining equipment condition, and ensuring timely shipping/receiving alongside adherence to HACCP, OSHA, and other regulatory requirements. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and general computer skills is noted, with travel around 10% and potential eligibility for an annual incentive plan.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of three years of experience in warehouse distribution
- Minimum of one year of experience overseeing a workforce
