Night Transport Support Operator

Transport operations role focusing on despatching outbound drivers, monitoring vehicle progress, and ensuring compliant, service-driven transport. Key duties include issuing correct paperwork and clear collection/delivery instructions, updating bookings and progress in customer/retailer systems, escalating delays or issues, liaising with drivers, customers and internal departments, and presenting KPIs to show performance improvements. Requires attention to detail, ability to work unsupervised, strong communication, and proficiency with MS Office tools. Night shift is 19:00–07:00 on a 4 on 4 off schedule. Role supports Fowler Welch’s logistics operations at the Spalding site with emphasis on efficiency, compliance, and cross-functional coordination.
